What you’ll do

  • Train and deploy machine learning models on radar, satellite, and NWP data 
  • Design pipelines for real-time weather prediction and nowcasting (Python, Airflow)
  • Collaborate with Meteorologists, Radar Engineers and Software Devs 
  • Push models to production (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, etc.) 
  • Track experiments and manage models using tools like ClearML
  • Apply digital signal processing techniques to radar and weather data
  • Experiment, test, break things (intelligently), and help build smarter forecasts

What we’re looking for

  • Solid background in machine learning (you know more than just calling .fit())
  • Strong Python, with experience in frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow 
  • Bonus points for: time-series, remote sensing, radar or weather models 
  • Able to work independently and communicate clearly 
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a healthy disrespect for how it has always been done
